Hey there Olive fashionistas! Here at Olive, we have decided to start promoting green wedding practices. To start off, I have come up with a couple great ideas to help you go green and still create your dream wedding.

Let your bridesmaids pick out their own style/color bridesmaid dresses. This creates a really different organic look and also saves money. For a cool wedding trend, use wild flowers for arrangements and bouquets. And for a chic table setting, use old mason jars! This idea can save you a ton of money and looks beautiful. ::

Use haystacks for tables or seating at an outdoor wedding ::

Vintage lace from your grandmother's or mother's wedding dress/veil is a great way to take a simple look to an elegant place. Olive can incorporate anything special such as heirloom lace into a dress ::

For Rosalie (Rose), an interior designer with flair, and Papillon (Pap), having a dramatic vintage inspired wedding was a no-brainer. Rose's short veil with white pleated tulle flower headpiece set the stage for the classic church wedding with a twist of drama. Her dress was, of course, from non-other than Olive and it fit her style and personality perfectly. Rose added a little personal touch to her strapless A-line silhouette with a beautiful brocade fabric, an elegant pearl brooch, and a ruffle of tulle at the hem. As you can see from the pictures below, the evening was extraordinary.

Rose exemplifies the Olive bride - a woman not afraid of her personal style and outstanding personality.

Sweet Katrina is the perfect example of an Olive Bride: modern, fashionable, easy-going, and creative. As you can tell from her pictures, Katrina had the time of her life in her beautiful Olive Wedding dress. With ruffles on her dress, a flower in her hair, and love in her heart, Katrina is a beautiful bride! Congrats!
